As a 'thank you' to Muskegon Co. Residents for supporting the Lakeshore Museum Center’s operating millage, Saturdays in October are free of charge for all county residents. Regular rates apply to out of county residents.
October Saturdays: Spooky Critter Bookmarks
Halloween is around the corner, pop into the museum to make your own spooky corner cover bookmark. Using paper, craft a monster covered in eyes or perhaps a scaled lizard to guard your pages. Funding for these programs has been provided by the Michigan Arts and Culture Council and National Endowment of the Arts.
Your Life in Speech Bubbles
As part of the Lakeshore Big Read, learn about using art to help show your daily life and address issues within it like in the book New Kid.
