Experience A Night Where History Comes Alive!

Step into a world where history awakens after dark at the Lumber Barons Ball Presents: Night at the Museum on October 3, 2026. Hosted by the Lakeshore Museum Center, this one-of-a-kind evening invites you to explore the museum as it transforms into a living journey through time.

From ancient civilizations to unforgettable moments in history, experience immersive exhibits, lively characters, and surprises around every corner. Enjoy engaging entertainment, themed music, and interactive performances that bring the past to life in exciting and unexpected ways. The West Side Soul Surfers will keep the energy high all evening long as the night’s featured entertainment.

Sip a creative cocktail at our time-traveling tavern, peruse multiple stations of exceptional cuisine, and indulge in nostalgic sweets from the “Occidental Cafe” by Hometown Creamery. Buy a raffle ticket to support the museum. Winners will be drawn during the event, but you do not need to be present to win. See bottom of page for details.

Come dressed in attire inspired by your favorite historical era, or dress as a notable figure from Muskegon or worldwide! Let your imagination shine to match the spirit of the night as we celebrate the stories, discoveries, and adventures that connect us all.

Do not miss the event of the year, where history comes to life and the night is filled with wonder!
