Corporate Staff or Family Outings:

Team Building Programs during weekday business hours:

• Corporate: $400 for up to 40 people
• Nonprofit: $350 for up to 40 people
• Program Options Include:

• • Amazing Museum Race
  • Dark Side of History (starting January 2022)
  • History Crime Detectives
  • Adult STEM Challenges (examples: Sail Car Propulsion, Balloon Rockets or Catapult Chaos)

• Corporate Programs include the use of one rental space for 2 hours.
• Corporate Programs available outside of weekday business hours for an additional fee, call for details.

 

Saturday Birthday Party:

• $200 for a 3 hour party

• • During open hours only:

• • • November-April: 12-3pm
    • May-October: 10am-3pm

All parties must be concluded one hour prior to closing time to ensure proper cleanup.

• 20 children max
  • Minimum 30 days notice requested for birthday parties
  • Additional Children $5/child
  • Over 20 children requires minimum 45 days notice

• Program Topics include:

• • Fossil Casting for ages 3 and up
  • Dissecting Owl Pellets for ages 7 and up
  • Tin Punching for ages 7 and up
  • Pioneer Activities for ages 3 and up
  • Dinosaur Presentation for ages 3-6

• Other topics may be arranged based on your child’s age and interest if requested. The museum requires at least a 45-day notice if you would like to arrange a special program not listed above. Additional charges may apply, call for details.

• Birthday parties may serve cake and ice cream in a classroom space.
• Birthday Parties outside museum business hours have limited availability and have an additional fee of $250.

 

 Community Walking Tours, during open hours:

• Available Topics:
  • Downtown Muskegon History
  • Legends & Lore
  • Art & Architecture
• $150 per tour for up to 10 people
  • Contact us for rate of more than 10 people

Lifelong Learning

Museum educators come to your location to present programs that have been custom designed for adult and senior participants.

Share a fun and engaging presentation for adults on one of the following topics: Lumbering in Michigan, Food History of Michigan, Animals of Michigan, & Downtown Muskegon: Yesterday and Today.

Scheduling

Programs are available Monday-Friday between 9AM and 4PM and are appropriate for adult and senior groups of varying sizes. Call 231.724.5543 to schedule your program or for more information.

 

Cost

• $50 for Muskegon County Locations

• $75 for Out-of-County Location + Mileage
