BUS GRANTS

$100

Help supplement the cost of busing for Muskegon County schools to attend programs at any of the museum’s sites.

MORE HOURS & DAYS

As the community grows and changes, we want to grow and change along with it! We are testing out increasing our hours to be more available to the community. Help us do that by sponsoring extra open hours.

INTERN STIPENDS

Help us build an inclusive internship program by offering paid stipends to interns.

PROGRAMMING WISHES

TUBELOX

$350

Tubelox for our STEM Center will allow kids to use their creativity while designing and building their own play. With this toy, they can fabricate anything from sizeable sturdy structures to usable cars, homes, and rocket ships.

OWL PELLETS

$40 Each

Each $40 donation provides owl pellets for one 3rd-5th grade class to dissect during the museum’s Nature’s Food Webs Program.

CRAFT SUPPLIES

$50

$50 covers an entire month of  craft supplies for the weekly hands-on programs held at the museum.

STAINED GLASS WINDOW RESTORATION

To restore the stained glass in the Hume Home.

HUME HOUSE PORTIERES

Many rooms in the Hume House originally featured curtains and rods in the doorways.

HACKLEY 2nd PARLOR PICTURE RAILS

Used to hang art on the walls, these rails will help further our restoration.

ENVIRONMENTAL MONITOR

Used to monitor environmental conditions to ensure long-term preservation of artifacts. It measures UV and visible light, temperature, and relative humidity.
