Join the Lakeshore Museum Center and the American Foundry Society for a night dedicated to foundries in Muskegon. Learn about historical foundries in Muskegon, experiment with making your own foundry sand, and cast a real metal object to take home. Free to County Residents, $5 for non-residents. In partnership with American Foundry Society.

Leaves are all over the ground this time of year. Take a break from raking and visit the museum to make your own stained glass leaf to take home. Free to Muskegon County residents and museum members; $5 for non-residents. Walk-in, open-house style event.

When the weather gets colder we bundle up and spend more time inside. But what do Michigan animals do? Stop by the museum to see how Michigan’s animals have adapted to survive cold, snowy winters. Free to Muskegon County residents and museum members; $5 for non-residents. Walk-in, open-house style event.

Experience the Hackley and Hume homes decorated for the holidays by Muskegon’s local community groups, with period-appropriate artifacts, ornaments and more! We’re kicking off our holiday tours on Saturday, November 30th from 4-8pm with ornament decorating, cookies, and hot chocolate in the courtyard. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are: $10 per person / $8 for seniors 65+ / $5 for Kids ages 2-12
