      Join us in our newest exhibit Shifting Shoreline anytime between 9:30am and 12:30pm on August 17th to learn more about how Lumbering and other industries changed Muskegon Lake's shoreline and ecosystems and what is being done to repair the damage.  Then try your hand at cleaning up a lake bottom in a simulated activity.

      Learn all about macroinvertebrates such as dragonfly and mayfly nymphs, crayfish and snails. Participants will learn from representatives of the Muskegon River Watershed Assembly what the creatures look like, how to identify then, how they are used to judge water quality, and what macroinvertebrates may live near them. This is a free walk-in event.
