Lakeshore Museum Center

Since 1937, the Lakeshore Museum Center has explored the history of Muskegon County through historic exhibits, education programs, and special presentations for all ages.

Permanent Museum Exhibits

Permanent exhibits trace over 400 million years of Michigan history in the making, explore animal food webs, and encourage children to participate in hands-on activities in the Science Center and Body Works. Artifacts, photographs, labels, historic dioramas, and videos all are employed to share the history and unique stories of the area.
