Join us for a fun family event at the Hackley & Hume Historic Site. James Tanis, a Muskegon native and author, will read his new book Marvelous Michigan An Unexpected Logging Camp Adventure. The book tells the story of two siblings and the magical book that transports them back in time to lumber baron Charles Hackley’s logging camp. The reading will take place in the Hackley House. Books will be available for purchase in the Visitor Center.
This is a free event and participants are invited to bring a book to donate to the Book-Drive.
