Free Literacy Event at the Historic Sites

Children can enjoy a blanket-fort book reading on the lawn at the Hume house, plant seeds to take home at the Scolnik House, and participate in other activities and crafts during a special literacy-related event. Each child in attendance will receive a free book. The FREE event is facilitated by local AmeriCorps Reading Corps members and sponsored by Read Early, Read Often.
