YOUTH CAMPS

The Lakeshore Museum Center offers camp opportunities for all ages to engage in and learn more about science and history topics.

STEM WORKSHOPS

STEM WorkShops are a half-day program that focuses on a specific topic in a STEM field each session. This half-day camp will give learners an opportunity to learn about the topic, see demonstrations, and construct their own experiments or designs. Recommended for ages 8-15.

Due to COVID restrictions, this program will be mostly outside and participants are required to wear masks and maintain 6 foot of separation.

June 16 – Molecules & Chemistry
June 23 – Plants & Hydroponics
June 30 – Great Lakes Geology

 

Time: 9am – 12pm each day
Cost:
Museum Members: $10 each or $25 for all three / Non-members: $12 each or $30 for all three

ENVIROWORKS MINI CAMP

 

Enviroworks is a half-day summer camp designed for young learners interested in topics in science and history. Campers get introduced to a topic and then play games, make a craft, experiment, or design something to help better understand the topic. A water bottle and snacks are recommended. Recommended for ages 6-11.

Due to COVID restrictions, this program will take place outside and participants are required to wear masks and maintain 6 foot of separation.

 

Dates: July 27 – 29, 2021 – 9:00am-12:00pm each day.
Cost:
$18 for museum members | $20 for non-members.

Location: Museum Center Auditorium, throughout museum, park and sometimes historic sites.
