The Board of Trustees of the Lakeshore Museum Center will meet today at 4:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public and will be held in the Museum Auditorium.
Visitors will be able to learn about the fur trade and its importance to Michigan history. There will be furs from many different animals to touch and a demonstration of what trades would have been made between Native Americans and Europeans. The event is open-house style and free of charge.

Have you ever wondered what an owl eats? You can find out by dissecting an owl pellet! Owls are a top predator in the forests and fields of Michigan and their diet consists of rodents, shrews, moles, and songbirds. The program is for ages 5 and up, participants 5 to 7 will need adult assistance.
