A traditional Pow Wow will be held at Michigan’s Heritage Park in Whitehall on July 16 and 17. Demonstrations by traditional dancers, fancy shawl dancers, jingle dress dancers and grass dancers. Native drummers and singers will perform throughout the weekend. Trade booths will offer such items for sale as jewelry, handmade crafts, and bead work. Traditional Native food will be available for purchase. There will be Grand Entries at Noon and 6:30 pm Saturday. The event continues on Sunday with the Grand Entry at Noon. Sunday hours are 10 am to 4 pm.
