Members of the Third Michigan Volunteer Infantry Co. F will bring the Civil War to life at Michigan’s Heritage Park. Learn about military and civilian life during the war by exploring camps and talking to reenactors.
10:00 am – Park opens for tours. Civilian War Military and Civilian Camps also open for tours.
10:30 am – Drill in Activity Field at the center of the park. Children invited to join in a second drill.
11:00 am “Life of the Everyday Soldier”, a talk with reenactor John Braden in the Picnic Pavilion.
1:30 pm – Civilian and Military Civil War Fashion Show at the Picnic Pavilion.
2:30 pm – Skirmish in Activity Field at the center of the park.
