Admission is FREE today for all visitors of the Hackley & Hume Historic site as part of a special county-wide “Be a Tourist in Your Own Backyard” promotion which 13 local museums are a part of. Also offering free admission today are the Milwaukee Clipper, Muskegon South Pierhead Light, James Jackson Museum of African American History, and the C&O Railroad Caboose Museum and Dr. Meinhardi’s Apothocary Shop in Whitehall. Admission is always free at the Lakeshore Museum Center, Fire Barn Museum, and Scolnik House of the Depression Era which are also open today from 10 am to 4 pm.
