Muskegon County residents can enjoy a free tour of the homes of Muskegon’s most well-known lumber barons today. The homes feature ornate wood carvings, stained glass windows, and period furnishings. Visitors will learn about the lumbering era, the homes, and the lives of Charles Hackley and Thomas Hume and their families.
Tours are free for Muskegon County residents on Saturdays and Sundays in October.
