Children and families will enjoy dissecting their own owl pellet to uncover the bones of a barn owl’s prey, identify them, and then bring them home! Owls are a top predator in the forests and fields of Michigan, and their diet consists of rodents, shrews, moles, and songbirds.
This program is open house style, and the cost per pellet is $3.
Cost does not include admission for non-Muskegon County residents, which is $3.
This activity is appropriate for ages 5 and older, but participants ages 5 to 7 will need adult assistance.
