The Lakeshore Museum Center and Muskegon Civic Theatre invite children ages 6-13 to join us for these interactive theatre workshops! Each workshop will be a chance to learn about different behind-the-scenes jobs that are required to put on a show!
June 25th – Set and Backdrop Painting
Learn backdrop painting techniques and learn to create sets and props like we will use in The Jungle Book!
July 9th – Theatre Make-up Techniques
Learn how to make animals, bruises and other cool faces!
August 20th – Theatre Tech
Learn all about controlling theatre lights and sounds with a “Raspberry Pi” controller, and how technology such 3D printers can be used to make props!
Tickets are $12 for one workshop or sign up for all three for $30! Tickets will be available on Eventbrite starting May 10: Eventbrite Link. Space is limited. Once your child is registered you will be sent a medical consent form to complete.
