STEM Workshops are focused programs made to dive deep into a topic to understand all the aspects about it.
Workshops include videos, creating models, designing experiments, and fun activities.
June 20-Roller Coasters
Why does a roller coaster make our stomach feel like its falling? How do engineers design and test out roller coasters so they are safe? What materials are best to make a roller coaster? These questions and more will be answered as attendees learn about and build several types of small roller coasters.
June 27-Foundries
This workshop will discuss how a foundry operates and what their importance is to Muskegon. Attendees will also go to the Muskegon Industrial Heritage Museum to see artifacts from past Muskegon foundries and have a chance to cast their own tin item.
$10 members, $12 non-members.
