The Lakeshore Museum Center is partnering with Grand Valley State University’s Annis Water Resources Institute (AWRI) to present a unique boat tour of Muskegon Lake. This tour, aboard the W.G Jackson, will highlight several sites around Muskegon Lake including Ruddiman Creek, the former grounds of the Lakey foundry, the MERES preserve, and the former site of Pigeon Hill. At each stop AWRI will discuss the work they are doing to help restore the lake, and the museum will talk about the historical use of the shoreline.
This tour will last approximately two hours, and participants must be able to stand for the duration. The price is $10 per person and this tour is intended for adults and children 7 or older.
