Families will enjoy activities related to the exhibit Edward S. Curtis: The North American Indian and Native American culture at both the Lakeshore Museum Center and Muskegon Museum of Art. Children who complete all four activities in their booklet can enter a drawing for a gift basket. The drawing for the basket will be held at 2:30pm.
Visit the Lakeshore Museum Center’s Habitats Gallery to discuss bears and how they were used historically in the Native American Culture. Touch a bear fur or examine their teeth in a real bear skull!
The Muskegon Museum of Art will have a bison related craft in their classroom as well as a live eagle for children to view.
