DESCRIPTION:This is a week-long day camp where children 7-12 years old learn all about Michigan history through games and activities like Capture the Flag (Civil War Union vs. the Confederates)\, through campfire songs\, and scavenger hunts (Archeologist Indiana Jones style).  Plus\, campers learn how to bake and cook with historic tools and ingredients\, make crafts like cornhusk dolls\, and have visits from special living history guests. \n$120 for Members\n$150 for Non-Members \nRegistration closes July 23.\nScholarships available for Muskegon County residents.

Over a dozen local actors from Muskegon Civic Theatre and volunteers will be stationed at the stops along the half mile trail creating a historic haunted atmosphere. The event is recommended for ages 13 and over.
