Each workshop will be a chance to learn about different behind-the-scenes jobs that are required to put on a show! \nJune 25th – Set and Backdrop Painting\nLearn backdrop painting techniques and learn to create sets and props like we will use in The Jungle Book! \nJuly 9th – Theatre Make-up Techniques\nLearn how to make animals\, bruises and other cool faces! \nAugust 20th – Theatre Tech\nLearn all about controlling theatre lights and sounds with a “Raspberry Pi” controller\, and how technology such 3D printers can be used to make props! \n  \nTickets are $12 for one workshop or sign up for all three for $30! Tickets will be available on Eventbrite starting May 10: Eventbrite Link. Space is limited. Once your child is registered you will be sent a medical consent form to complete.

This is a  FREE event where a variety of accommodations have been put into place to create an inclusive\, welcoming\, and safe place. Families can visit the museum’s exhibits\, work on a craft\, and have the option to visit the quiet area to relax and unwind. \nFamilies may register with Eventbrite: www.eventbrite.com/e/asd-sensory-saturday-tickets-59399731195 \nSensory bags with items like noise canceling headphones\, visors\, and fidget toys will also be available for families to check out. \nFamilies can also visit the Lakeshore Museum Center website to download a “Sensory Story” to read with their child before their visit.
