L’Dor V’Dor

EXHIBIT OPEN September 30, 2021 – April 23, 2022

This exhibit celebrates the history of the Jewish Community in Muskegon, exemplified by Congregation B’nai Israel, which was founded in 1888. We invite visitors to learn about Judaism and Congregation B’nai Israel by exploring three major elements of Judaism in daily life: education, religious practice, and family.

L’Dor V’Dor is a partnership between the Lakeshore Museum Center and Congregation B’nai Israel. This exhibition is funded in part by Michigan Humanities, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, and received generous support from the Grand Valley State University Kutsche Office of Local History, and members of Congregation B’nai Israel.

Get tickets at www.eventbrite.com. Free for Muskegon Co. Residents and Members, $5 admission for non-residents. Space is limited, and registration is required.
