DESCRIPTION:Honor the dads in your life this Father’s Day! \nThis Father’s Day\, treat dad to a special afternoon of exploration at the Hackley and Hume Historic Site\, the Fire Barn Museum\, and the Scolnik House of the Depression Era. \nMuskegon County fathers enjoy free admission\, while regular admission rates apply to all other visitors. \nBring the whole family and make this Father’s Day one to remember with history\, fun\, and a heartfelt celebration of dad! When you arrive\, check in at the City Barn (carriage house) behind the Hackley and Hume Historic Site. \nFree parking is available on Webster Avenue and 6th Street. \nFree For Muskegon County Dads. \nOther visitors on the day will pay normal admission. \nAdults $15\nSeniors $12\nKids 2-12-$5 \nNo registration required. Tickets are available at the door. Visitors are welcomed to walk-in during open hours. The last tour leaves at 4:00 pm. \nThis activity is supported by the MICHIGAN ARTS AND CULTURE COUNCIL and the NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS. \n

DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join a special Play and Learn program at the Lakeshore Museum Center on the second and fourth Thursdays. \n“Little Learners” is a free literacy-based program for Muskegon County infants and toddlers ages 0-4.  During this program\, participants will be invited to join us for story time and free play with themed activities.  Registration is required\, but there is no charge for this program.     All attendees must register\, including caregivers & siblings. \nThis program will run for 50-60 minutes\, 15-20 for an organized storytime\, and the rest for free play and a craft.  During this program\, adults and children will have fun learning through songs\, stories\, sensory stations\, motor skills stations\, art\, and more! \nOur themes for this year will be: \nMarch/April:  Sorting\n3/12\, 3/26\, 4/23 \nMay/June:  Nature\n5/14\, 5/28\, 6/11\, 6/25 \nWe will have a free book for families to take home\, as well as special crafts and activities to do. \nRegister here: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/play-and-learn-fall-25-spring \nThis activity is supported by the MICHIGAN ARTS AND CULTURE COUNCIL and the NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS. \n                    \n  \n
