DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special Play and Learn program at the Lakeshore Museum Center to celebrate Read Early\, Read Often Week! \nThis free literacy-based program is for Muskegon County infants and toddlers ages 0-4.  Adults and children will learn through songs\, stories\, sensory stations\, motor skills stations\, art and more. Each family will also receive a free book to take home! \nMuseum admission is free for Muskegon County residents and museum members\, and $5 for non-residents ages 3 and older. DESCRIPTION:FREE tours for Muskegon County residents on Saturday\, May 25\, 2019! In 1888\, the Muskegon Board of Education declared May 25 Hackley Day to express their gratitude to Hackley for donating the money to build a library in downtown Muskegon. \nVisitors are welcomed to walk-in during open hours. Tours leave the City Barn (carriage house) every 20 minutes and leave in groups of 10 or less. The last tour leaves at 4:00pm. \nFor non-residents of Muskegon normal admission is charged. \n
