DESCRIPTION:Story Telling Through the Mail features over 80 examples of “tall tale” postcards from around the country which demonstrate a unique form of popular humor dating back to the early 20th Century.  Tall tales are humorous stories of exaggeration such as gigantic vegetables and fruits\, farm animals\, or wild game and fish. DESCRIPTION:Learn about the habitats of both common and rare Michigan hawks and owls and their importance in our ecosystem.  Four to five birds will be included in the presentation by Kristin Tindall\, Master Naturalist at Blandford Nature Center. The program is designed for children 5 and older with adult supervision.
