DESCRIPTION:This new opportunity invites visitors to enjoy the site in a new and interesting way. The evening will include a picnic on the lawn that will allow visitors to relax before they explore the Hackley and Hume homes\, which will be open for casual tours during the event. Hotdogs provided by First Lutheran Church will be available for purchase or you can bring your own food. Visitors 21 and older will also be able to purchase beer. Music by the cover band Great Scott will be in the courtyard between the houses. Visitors will also be invited to play historic games on the lawn. This evening is to allow people to linger\, enjoy music\, and hang out with their friends and family over the weekend. \nTickets: Tickets will be needed to enter the event. Join us on the third Friday of the month from 7-8:30 pm to enjoy and experience different themed topics such as restoration\, preservation\, family stories\, new discoveries in the research\, Hackley House during the Red Cross and Hume as a Daycare Center\, and future projects. \n$20 for non-members\, $15 for members \nRSVP is required\, but we will accept walk-ins if there is room. We will accept 15 people on the tour\, but if we have a lot of interest\, we will be able to accommodate 30 people.
