SUMMARY:Little Learners: STEAM Play & Learn
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join a special Play and Learn program at the Lakeshore Museum Center on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. \n“Little Learners” is a free literacy-based program for Muskegon County infants and toddlers ages 0-4. During this program\, participants will be invited to join us for storytime inside. Then we will all go out to play outside weather permitting. If the weather is poor\, we will stay inside to play. \nRegistration via Eventbrite is required but there is no charge for this program. Register here: eventbrite.com/e/little-learners-playgroup-tickets-170168066267.  \nAll attendees must register including caregivers & siblings. Due to the current restrictions\, we have space for 20 guests (children & adults).*This may change as the transmission rates of COVID in our community change. Also\, in consideration of current health concerns\, we highly recommend that while inside the museum everyone over 2 years of age wears a mask. Outside masks are at the discretion of parents. \nThis program will run for 50-60 minutes\, 15-20 inside and the rest outside\, as weather permits. During this program\, adults and children will have fun learning through songs\, stories\, sensory stations\, motor skills stations\, art\, and more! \nLittle Learners is supported through a grant from the MAISD and GreatStart program. \nThe September/October theme is Trees.
