DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join a special Play and Learn program at the Lakeshore Museum Center on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. \n“Little Learners” is a free literacy-based program for Muskegon County infants and toddlers ages 0-4.  During this program\, participants will be invited to join us for storytime and free play with themed activities.  Registration via Eventbrite is required but there is no charge for this program.  All attendees must register including caregivers & siblings.  Please check our Facebook Event for updated COVID considerations. \nThis program will run for 50-60 minutes\, 15-20 for an organized storytime\, and the rest for free play and a craft.  During this program\, adults and children will have fun learning through songs\, stories\, sensory stations\, motor skills stations\, art\, and more! \nOur themes for this session will be: \nJan/Feb:  Sound \nMarch/April:  Robots \nMay/June:  Color \nWe will have a free book for families to take home as well as special crafts and activities to do. \nThis program is free.  If after the program you would like to visit the museum galleries\, the admission is free for Muskegon County residents and museum members and $5 for non-residents ages 3 and older. \nRSVPs required. This tour pairs nicely with the Muskegon Museum of Art’s Dressing the Abbey exhibit. \nHistoric Walking Tour: Learn about the past and current uses and occupants of many of Muskegon’s historic businesses and residences. DESCRIPTION:Muskegon County Dads receive free access to the Historic Sites for the afternoon. Their visit includes a tour at the Hackley and Hume Historic Site\, Scolnik House of the Depression Era\, and the Fire Barn Museum. \nTours start in the City Barn (carriage house) at the Hackley and Hume Historic Site. \nFree Parking on Webster Avenue and 6th Street. \nTours are free for Muskegon County dads. Other visitors on the day will pay normal admission: \nAdults $15 \nSeniors $12 \nKids 2-12 – $5 \nNo registration is required. Visitors are welcome to walk in during open hours. The last tour leaves at 4:00 pm.
