DESCRIPTION:Back in 1620’s\, before Michigan became a state\, the French began exploring the new world. They were the first to build forts in the Great Lakes region and begin trading with the Native Americans tribes. Join us to see artifacts both parties would have been trading. \nFree for members and Muskegon county residents\, $5 for out-of-county. \nThese free family programs are underwritten by: \n \nThis activity is supported by the MICHIGAN ARTS AND CULTURE COUNCIL and the NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS. \n
