An Adventure Awaits! \nJoin Nature Cat and his friends for a wild day of discovery at the Muskegon Museum of History & Science as we celebrate the opening of our newest exhibit\, Nature Cat: Backyard and Beyond\, on Saturday\, May 30\, 2026! \nKick off the adventure with a fun\, open-house style celebration for explorers of all ages. Meet Nature Cat in person to snap a photo with your favorite backyard adventurer\, and dive into hands-on activities inspired by the natural world. Young explorers can follow clues on a nature-themed scavenger hunt\, get creative with recycled material art\, and enjoy light refreshments—including a special tasting from Kitty Wampus Soda. \nWhether you’re a longtime fan or ready to discover the outdoors with Nature Cat for the first time\, this exciting exhibit opening promises curiosity\, creativity\, and plenty of backyard fun. \nNature Cat: Backyard and Beyond runs May 30 – September 12\, 2026. \nTickets are free for Muskegon County residents and $5 for out-of-county residents. \nRSVP to marci@lakeshoremuseum.org. \n  \n \nNature Cat: Backyard and Beyond was developed by the Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago\, Glenview\, Illinois. \nExhibit Sponsors: \n
