Tours at the Hackley and Hume Historic Site usually take about an hour. \nThe tickets are sold in the City Barn (Carriage House) at the Hackley and Hume Historic Site. \nWith a purchased ticket\, visitors will enjoy a classic Hackley and Hume tour at the site\, the Scolnik House of the Depression Era\, and the Fire Barn Museum. \nNo registration is required. During this free event\, guests will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase cedar shake shingles for the Hackley House to pen their name upon\, a heartfelt message\, or a dedication to a loved one. Shingles will be mapped and photographed for creators during their August installation with the option to have their shingles returned to them in twenty-five years when re-roofing occurs. \nAdditional evening festivities include live music from local pianist Kathy Casazza\, a flavorful menu from Navarro’s Mexican Take Out available for purchase\, historic lawn games\, and classic brews in the courtyard. \nAdmission to this event is free.
