SUMMARY:Little Learners Play & Learn
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join a special Play and Learn program at the Lakeshore Museum Center on the second and fourth Thursday\, except November & December which will be the 2nd Thursdays only. \n“Little Learners” is a free literacy-based program for Muskegon County infants and toddlers ages 0-4.  During this program participants will be invited to join us for story time and free play with themed activities.  Registration is required but there is no charge for this program. All attendees must register including caregivers & siblings. \nThis program will run for 50-60 minutes\, 15-20 for an organized story time\, and the rest for free play and a craft.  During this program adults and children will have fun learning through songs\, stories\, sensory stations\, motor skills stations\, art and more! \nOur themes for this year will be: \nSeptember/October:  Habitats \nNovember:  Little Read of the Lakeshore \nDecember:  Weather \nJanuary/February:  Natural History Fossils \nMarch/April: Rain \nMay/June:  Native Americans \nWe will have a free book for families to take home as well as special crafts and activities to do. \nRegister here: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/play-and-learn-fall-26-spring–27 \nThis activity is supported by the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District\, the MICHIGAN ARTS AND CULTURE COUNCIL and the NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS. \n                   .      \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:This 90-minute program invites families to explore a new topic each month through hands-on activities designed for a variety of ages. \nThis year\, we will offer our popular outreach and school programs for families to participate in for the months of September\, November\, January\, April\, and May.  Due to the variation in programs one or two of these may be done a few minutes early. \nIn October\, December\, February\, and March\, families will follow the format of a large-group introduction to the monthly topic before exploring themed activity stations and the museum at their own pace. Stations will be available until 11:30 a.m. \nUnless noted otherwise below all events happen at the Muskegon Museum of History and Science. \nThemes: \n●     September 17: Hackley & Hume Tours @Hackley and Hume Houses 484 W. Webster Ave \n●     October 14:  Innovation @Muskegon Heritage Museum of Business and Industry 561 W.
