DESCRIPTION:This hour and a half program will invite families to explore the museum with activities at a variety of age levels around our monthly theme/topic. \nWe will have time as a large group for an introduction and then families will be welcome to explore the theme stations and the museum on their own. Before families depart we will meet again as a large group for one final activity and questions. \nEvent Dates: \n9/11\, 10/3\, 11/7\, 12/5\, 1/9\, 2/6\, 3/12\, 4/9\, 5/7 \nSchedule: \n● 10:00-10:15 Check in families/open explore\n● 10:15 Big Group Introduction in Auditorium\n● 10:30-11:15 Theme Stations and independent exploration (There will be at least two; one for older children and one for younger. Families will be welcome to do one the other or both.)\n● 11:15-11:30 One final activity in the Auditorium \nHistoric Sites 484 W. Webster Ave:\n● September: Victorian Life with the Hackleys and Humes. \nMuskegon Heritage Museum of Business & Industry 561 W. DESCRIPTION:Experience the Hackley and Hume Houses this holiday season! Join us for our kick-off on Saturday\, November 25 from 3-7 pm for ornament & postcard decorating\, a chance to pose in an authentic carriage\, and tours of the Houses. \nThroughout the season\, Perry’s Pines will also be selling Christmas trees and wreaths in the courtyard. \nIt has been a tradition since 1972 that community groups adopt a room and this year YOU will get to vote for the best-decorated room. Receive 2 voting tickets FREE with your admission and purchase more voting opportunities in the gift shop for $1 per ticket or 6 for $5. Voting ends December 28. \nAll dates are walk-through tours where visitors can experience the houses decorated for the Holidays. \nNormal Admission Prices apply for the Holiday Tours: \nAdults $12 \nSeniors (65 +) $10 \nKids (3-12) $5 \nNo registration is required for these events. \n  \nFunding for these programs has been provided by the Michigan Arts & Culture Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.

DESCRIPTION:This hour and a half program will invite families to explore the museum with activities at a variety of age levels around our monthly theme/topic. \nWe will have time as a large group for an introduction and then families will be welcome to explore the theme stations and the museum on their own. Before families depart we will meet again as a large group for one final activity and questions. \nEvent Dates: \n9/11\, 10/3\, 11/7\, 12/5\, 1/9\, 2/6\, 3/12\, 4/9\, 5/7 \nSchedule: \n● 10:00-10:15 Check in families/open explore\n● 10:15 Big Group Introduction in Auditorium\n● 10:30-11:15 Theme Stations and independent exploration (There will be at least two; one for older children and one for younger. Families will be welcome to do one the other or both.)\n● 11:15-11:30 One final activity in the Auditorium \nHistoric Sites 484 W. Webster Ave:\n● September: Victorian Life with the Hackleys and Humes. \nMuskegon Heritage Museum of Business & Industry 561 W. Western:\n● October: Machines-Simple and Complex. \nMuskegon Museum of History and Science 430 W.
