SUMMARY:STEM Workshops
DESCRIPTION:STEM Workshops are a half-day program that focuses on a specific topic in a STEM field each session. This half-day camp will give learners an opportunity to learn about the topic\, see demonstrations\, and construct their own experiments or designs. \nThe STEM Workshops are for children ages 8-15. \nJune 15 – Pioneer Science \nJune 22 – Fluid Dynamics of Water and Air \nJune 29 – Archaeology \nTickets are $10 for members and $12 for non-members per workshop; $25members for all three or $30 for non-members for all three. \nRegister at Eventbrite at lakeshoremuseumstemworkshops.eventbrite.com or by calling 231-722-0278.

SUMMARY:Carnival of Business & Industry
DESCRIPTION:Step right up and try your hand at one of our many Muskegon Industry activities! Explore the museum in a way you never have before. Purchase tickets to take part in hands-on experiences throughout the museum including running our Brunswick Pinsetter\, pouring your own cast metal item\, trying your luck in our flight simulator\, and many more! \nFunds raised during the event will help support programs and exhibits at the Muskegon Heritage Museum of Business & Industry. \nSocial District drink cups are welcome in the museum for this special event\, so visit one of the many participating Western Avenue locations for your beverage needs. Soda\, popcorn\, pickles\, and nostalgic candies will be available for purchase in the museum. Our neighbors at Occidental Eats will be selling hotdogs\, ice cream\, and more as well! \nAdmission will be free\, but activity stations will require 2 tickets\, and tickets will cost $2 each. Soda\, popcorn\, pickles\, and candy will be available for 1 ticket each. \nSkip the line! Advance ticket sales at all sites start June 1st\, and ticket packs will be available. \n  \nThe pickle station for this event is sponsored by Swanson Pickle Co. \n \n
